THE NEW SMYRNA BEACH<br />

MUSEUM OF EAST COAST SURFING<br />

The museum opened in 2014 inside the<br />

New Smyrna Beach Museum of History,<br />

this unique space features extensive<br />

displays of surfing memorabilia like<br />

surfboards, surf art (some created by local<br />

Jimmy Lane), and photos documenting<br />

the area’s surfing history. This is a great<br />

place to visit to catch the vibe of the local<br />
