2024 N EW SMYRNA BEACH AREA VISITORS GUIDE
Sustainability
Be a Responsible Visitor
This Year in the
New Smyrna Beach Area
The New Smyrna Beach Area Visitors Bureau
and Leave No Trace invite you to be part
of the responsible visitation solution this
year. Help protect our natural environment,
community cultures and the experience
of others by practicing the Leave No Trace
Seven Principles. Here’s where you can start:
Plan Ahead and Prepare
• Consider a midweek visit, instead of the
weekend. The busiest times on our roads,
beaches, and causeways are on the
weekends when parking gets full sometimes
as early as 9:00am.
• Please contain all your trash and litter until
you find an available receptacle. Everybody
and every animal thanks you in advance.
• Always give a lot of space to manatees,
dolphins, sea birds and other aquatic animals.
• Please respect every other visitor. The
outdoor spaces in the New Smyrna Beach
Area are for everyone. Being friendly
and welcoming fosters a more inclusive
experience for everyone.
