Individual Achievements
Alex Innes (A Section) – Selected to represent the
North at the Junior Area Team Championship in
September.
Euan Cameron (B+Section) – Qualified for
National Final of the Wee Wonders at Gullane
Golf Club in the 11/12 years old category, finishing
12th in the grand final.
Morven Cameron (B Section) – Qualified for the
National Final of the Wee Wonders at North
Berwick Golf Club in the 5-8 years old category,
finishing 3rd in the grand final.
In conclusion my heartfelt thanks go to Gary
Dingwall and Ally McNaughton, also to the rest of
the Junior and Morcott Challenge subcommittees
without whose help and support all that was
achieved would not have been possible.
Here’s to the same if not better next year.

Harry Fleming & Euan Swanson on 18th of Struie Course
IMG Academy
In May, two of our juniors had the opportunity to
attend the IMG Academy in Florida for a weeks’ golf
camp. Alex Innes and Rhianna Mackay were
selected to attend the golf camp based on their hard
work and dedication throughout the winter
programme. Both juniors experienced what it is like
to attend one of the top sports academies in the
world and received expert, specialised coaching on
mental preparation and nutrition. Hopefully by the
time this is published a vlog on their time spent will
be available at Bunkered online.
Mini’s & Wildcats all set for skills challenge
Morcott Challenge
This year was an away match for us. The team of
Angus McFall, Rhianna Mackay, Ali Morrison,
Luke Fairns, Kieran Allan, Erin Holden, Alex
Innes and Jamie Riordan travelled to Lake Forest,
Illinois for the annual match. Although the team
didn’t manage to bring the trophy home this year,
they all thoroughly enjoyed the experience of
playing some top golf courses and making new
friends for life on the golf course.
