I ACTUALITÉS / NEWS I SprintProject, Innovation Partner du SITL GESTION D’ENTREPÔTS : KPMG CHOISIT LE LOGICIEL EASY WMS DE MECALUX Le SITL 2024 a permis à KPMG et Mecalux d’officialiser leur partenariat en vue d’accélérer le développement d’Easy WMS en France. Après des tests portant sur une douzaine de solutions, c’est en effet le logiciel de gestion d’entrepôt développé par Mecalux que le cabinet de conseil KPMG a choisi d’intégrer à son offre de services technologiques pour ses clients sur le marché français. Pour l’occasion, SITL Daily a rencontré Régis Dindeleux (associé de KPMG Connected Tech) et Daniel Joly (directeur général France de Mecalux) STAND N093 STAND N030 Président et Fondateur de SprintProject, Fabien Esnoult explique son engagement auprès des startups au SITL. On a toujours eu une proximité avec les équipes du SITL. SprintProject a de fait toujours montré sa volonté de promouvoir le SITL, et de contribuer à en renforcer la dynamique d’innovation, notamment dans la mise en avant des start-ups. En quoi cet évènement est-il si important pour les start-ups du secteur ? Le SITL est le seul événement qui rassemble l’ensemble des acteurs de la filière : opérateurs, entreprises, territoires... SprintProject is an Innovation Partner of SITL for the 6th year. Why is this partnership such a priority? It’s a long story, because we have a long-term commitment. We’ve always been close to the SITL teams. In fact, SprintProject has always shown its willingness to promote SITL, and to contribute to strengthening the innovation dynamic, particularly by promoting start-ups. Why is this event so important for start-ups in the sector? SITL is the only event that brings together all the players in the sector: operators, companies, regions, etc. After that, it’s up to us to encourage meetings between start-ups and major groups! What are the show’s key moments for innovation? Apart from the numerous pitches in the Start-Up Village and the Start-Up Contest finals, there’s also the prize-giving at the Innovation Ceremony. This year’s winner of the Start-Up Contest is Deki, the carbon-free urban transport and logistics solution. Intuitivement, ces deux termes sont contradictoires. Sauf pour ce qui est de l’immobilier logistique ! L’entrepôt a cette faculté rare de contribuer à la fois à décarboner l’économie et à être le bras ouvrier de la réindustrialisation, sans lequel celle-ci n’est pas possible. Tout cela dans un contexte de sobriété foncière. Arriverons-nous collectivement à articuler ces trois politiques publiques ? C’est toute la question. En quoi l’entrepôt décarbone-t-il les flux transport ? Contrairement à l’image que ses détracteurs développent de l’entrepôt, celui-ci ne crée par les flux, il les optimise. Il diminue ainsi les kilomètres parcourus et donc améliore la performance carbone du transport. Ce qui compte donc en premier pour décarboner les flux, c’est la juste localisation de l’entrepôt. En quoi l’entrepôt est-il une condition à la réindustrialisation ? Il y a du stock en entrée et en sortie d’usine. Il n’y a pas d’unité de production viable sans une logistique de proximité. Rapatrier des unités de fabrication sans trouver la place pour sa logistique est tout simplement illusoire. Que faut-il pour que la logistique contribue aux politiques de décarbonation et de réindustrialisation ? Il faut lui trouver une place sur les territoires. Le parc existant est proche de la saturation, avec environ 3 % de vacance, les nouveaux besoins ne peuvent être satisfaits que par la construction de nouveaux entrepôts. Intuitively, these two terms seem contradictory. Except when it comes to logistics property! Warehousing has the rare ability to contribute both to decarbonising the economy and to being the working arm of reindustrialisation, without which it is not possible. And all of this in a context of sober land use. Will we collectively be able to articulate these three public policies? That’s the question. How do warehouses decarbonise transport flows? Contrary to the image that detractors have of warehouses, they don’t create flows, they optimise them. They reduce the number of kilometres travelled and therefore improve the carbon performance of transport. So the most important factor in decarbonising flows is the right location for the warehouse. How are warehouses a prerequisite for reindustrialisation? There is stock coming in and out of factories. There can be no viable production unit without local logistics. Repatriating production units without finding space for logistics is simply illusory. What is needed for logistics to contribute to decarbonisation and reindustrialisation policies? We need to find space in the regions. The existing stock of warehouses is close to saturation, with a vacancy rate of around 3%, and new needs can only be met by building new warehouses.
