Thursday and Saturday<br />

The <strong>Selwyn</strong> Artist Collective<br />

will be setting up their easels,<br />

carving tools, pencils and paints<br />

to create an open art studio. Come<br />

along and watch them as they<br />

work, ask questions about their<br />

processes, and find out where<br />

they get their inspiration. The<br />

Collective will also be hosting a<br />

range of interactive activities for<br />

participants wanting to try their<br />

hand at making too. All ages<br />

welcome, drop-in.<br />

Join singer/songwriter Lisa Tui<br />

and her band for an evening of<br />

storytelling through pakiwaitara,<br />

original songs and waiata. Lisa<br />

will share yarns of her reo Māori<br />

journey, her Nani Pungawerewere,<br />

some of the aunties, and Māui<br />

and his mum. Come prepared<br />

to laugh, sing and clap through<br />

this enchanting, cheeky, hearty<br />

performance. For ages 13+. Cost:<br />

$15 for <strong>Selwyn</strong> Libraries members<br />

and $30 for non-members.<br />

keep it looking healthy? Amanda and Catriona from K9 Cabin will share tips and tricks<br />

on simple ways to stay on top of upkeep between grooming. 16+ years. Free, bookings<br />
