Day 1 – Sun: Dublin Tour & Book of Kells
Start at Dublin Airport with a transfer to your hotel.
At 2:00 pm tour central Dublin to see Georgian
squares, statue-lined streets and public buildings.
Visit Trinity College’s campus and view the priceless
Book of Kells. Join your fellow travelers for
a welcome drink and dine independently.
Day 2 – Mon: Clonmacnoise & Galway
Travel to Clonmacnoise, a monastic settlement
founded by St. Ciaran in 545 AD. See round
towers, elaborate Celtic crosses and church
ruins. Drive to Galway, see the main sights and
check into your hotel, located in the city center.
Enjoy some free time before dinner. (B, D)
Day 3 – Tue: Connemara &
Catamaran Cruise
Tour Connemara for sweeping views of misty
mountains and shimmering lakes. In Leenane
take a short cruise of Killary Harbour, for peaceful
views of hills and wild life. Stop for a look around
Kylemore Abbey Visitor Centre and also the town
of Clifden before returning to Galway. (B, D)
Day 4 – Wed: Cliffs of Moher &
Killarney’s Jaunting Car
Drive south to see the Cliffs of Moher, which
rise almost 700 feet above the pounding Atlantic
surf. Drive through the outskirts of Limerick to
Killarney. Take a horse-drawn jaunting car ride
through Killarney National Park to tour the
elegantly-furnished Muckross House and stroll
through the gardens. (B, D)
Day 5 – Thu: Ring of Kerry &
Skellig Experience
Admire breathtaking vistas of mountains, cliffs
and beaches on Ireland’s most popular drive –
the 100-mile Ring of Kerry. Visit the Skellig
Experience, which explains life on the rocky offshore
islands. Return to Killarney and dine at the
award-winning Killeen House Restaurant. (B, D)
Day 6 – Fri: Blarney Castle &
Traditional Music Session
Drive to Blarney Castle to kiss the “Stone of
Eloquence” and shop at the Blarney Woollen
Mills. Head to the Marine Bar in Dungarvan for
a creamy Irish coffee and an informal traditional
music session. Continue to Waterford and after
dinner join a local guide for a brief walk to make
the local history come alive. (B, D)

Day 7 – Sat: Waterford Crystal &
Pub Dinner/Show
Tour the House of Waterford Crystal to see
demonstrations of glass blowing and cutting.
At New Ross visit the Dunbrody Famine Ship,
a replica of the 19th century vessel that carried
emigrants from Ireland. Continue to Dublin and
in the evening drive to a popular venue for dinner
and traditional Irish entertainment. (B, D)
Day 8 – Sun: Depart for Home or
Extra Day in Dublin
Passengers on the 8-day tour transfer to Dublin
Airport. Those on the 9-day program remain in
Dublin to enjoy an open-top bus tour and a visit
to Guinness or Jameson independently. (B)
