Day 1 – Sun: Dublin <strong>Tour</strong> & Book of Kells<br />

Start at Dublin Airport with a transfer to your hotel.<br />

At 2:00 pm tour central Dublin to see Georgian<br />

squares, statue-lined streets and public buildings.<br />

Visit Trinity College’s campus and view the priceless<br />

Book of Kells. Join your fellow travelers for<br />

a welcome drink and dine independently.<br />

Day 2 – Mon: Clonmacnoise & Galway<br />

Travel to Clonmacnoise, a monastic settlement<br />

founded by St. Ciaran in 545 AD. See round<br />

towers, elaborate Celtic crosses and church<br />

ruins. Drive to Galway, see the main sights and<br />

check into your hotel, located in the city center.<br />

Enjoy some free time before dinner. (B, D)<br />

Day 3 – Tue: Connemara &<br />

Catamaran Cruise<br />

<strong>Tour</strong> Connemara for sweeping views of misty<br />

mountains and shimmering lakes. In Leenane<br />

take a short cruise of Killary Harbour, for peaceful<br />

views of hills and wild life. Stop for a look around<br />

Kylemore Abbey Visitor Centre and also the town<br />

of Clifden before returning to Galway. (B, D)<br />

Day 4 – Wed: Cliffs of Moher &<br />

Killarney’s Jaunting Car<br />

Drive south to see the Cliffs of Moher, which<br />

rise almost 700 feet above the pounding Atlantic<br />

surf. Drive through the outskirts of Limerick to<br />

Killarney. Take a horse-drawn jaunting car ride<br />

through Killarney National Park to tour the<br />

elegantly-furnished Muckross House and stroll<br />

through the gardens. (B, D)<br />

Day 5 – Thu: Ring of Kerry &<br />

Skellig Experience<br />

Admire breathtaking vistas of mountains, cliffs<br />

and beaches on Ireland’s most popular drive –<br />

the 100-mile Ring of Kerry. Visit the Skellig<br />

Experience, which explains life on the rocky offshore<br />

islands. Return to Killarney and dine at the<br />

award-winning Killeen House Restaurant. (B, D)<br />

Day 6 – Fri: Blarney Castle &<br />

Traditional Music Session<br />

Drive to Blarney Castle to kiss the “Stone of<br />

Eloquence” and shop at the Blarney Woollen<br />

Mills. Head to the Marine Bar in Dungarvan for<br />

a creamy Irish coffee and an informal traditional<br />

music session. Continue to Waterford and after<br />

dinner join a local guide for a brief walk to make<br />

a replica of the 19th century vessel that carried<br />
