Day 1 – Sun: Edinburgh Arrival & <strong>Tour</strong><br />

Arrive in Edinburgh Airport and take a group transfer to your hotel.<br />

At 2:30 pm tour Edinburgh to discover the elegant 200-year-old<br />

Georgian “New Town” and the medieval townhouses along the<br />

Royal Mile. Meet your fellow passengers over a welcome drink.<br />

Day 2 – Mon: Stirling Castle & “Braveheart”<br />

<strong>Tour</strong> the massive Stirling Castle, recaptured from the<br />

English by “Braveheart” William Wallace in 1297. Enjoy<br />

great scenic views and explore the Great Hall, kitchens<br />

and chapel. Return to Edinburgh for a free afternoon.<br />

Dine at a Scottish cabaret where you can<br />

Day 4 – Wed: Yorkshire Dales & York<br />

heathery moors and ancient stone villages. On<br />

arrival in York take a guided city tour and walk<br />

cathedrals with brilliant stained glass windows.<br />

Head to a cozy traditional tavern for dinner and<br />

Day 5 – Thu: Train Ride & Castle Howard<br />

Travel the North Yorkshire Moors Railway through<br />

magnificent scenery. Take a walking tour through<br />

Whitby to discover the picturesque harbor,<br />

Howard, an imposing 18th-century mansion<br />

where Evelyn Waugh’s novel, “Brideshead<br />

Revisited,” was filmed. See world-renowned artifacts<br />

Day 6 – Fri: Brontës & Beatles’ Liverpool<br />

Visit the Brontë Parsonage, where Charlotte,<br />

Emily and Anne Brontë penned their popular<br />

books. See the dining room where the three<br />

sisters worked on their novels, including<br />

“Wuthering Heights.” Continue to Liverpool<br />

where a Beatles-themed tour will show you<br />

Day 8 – Sun: Tower of London & City Sights<br />

Today you are completely at leisure to plan your<br />

day as you wish. Use your voucher for an independent<br />

open-top bus tour to explore London’s<br />
