Tour Highlights:
Edinburgh Twilight Tour with Dinner,
Highland Entertainment, Loch Lomond

Day 1 – Sun: Glasgow City Tour
Arrive in Glasgow Airport. At 2:30 pm take
a coach tour around Glasgow’s main attractions
and visit Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
Meet your tour director and fellow travelers
over a welcome drink before dinner. (D)
Day 2 – Mon: Loch Lomond Cruise
& Inveraray Castle
Take a short cruise on Loch Lomond to admire
beautiful views. Take a guided tour through
stately Inveraray Castle and walk around the
village. Cross Rannoch Moor and pass through
spectacular Glen Coe before arriving at your
hotel on the west coast. (B, D)
Day 3 – Tue: Isle of Skye &
Clan Donald Centre
Drive along the famous “Road to the Isles” and
take a ferry to the Isle of Skye. Visit the Clan
Donald Centre at Armadale Castle and drive
through the island scenery. Head for Nairn to enjoy
a special cabaret with Scottish music. (B, D)
Day 4 – Wed: Culloden Battlefield
& Distillery
Tour Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre and see
where Bonnie Prince Charlie was defeated in
1746. Drive into Speyside to tour the Speyside
Cooperage and also Glenfiddich Distillery to
view whisky making and sample a “wee dram.”
Continue to your 19th century mansion hotel
in Blairs. (B, D)
Day 5 – Thu: Royal Deeside &
Afternoon Tea
Drive along “Royal Deeside” to Braemar, famous
for its Highland games. Pass the Royal Family’s
Balmoral Castle and visit the lovely Crathie
Church. Stop at the Falls of Feugh for afternoon
tea and a talk on Highland life. (B, D)
Day 6 – Fri: Glamis Castle & St. Andrews
Visit Glamis Castle, the legendary setting of
“Macbeth” and childhood home of the late Queen
Mother. Head to St. Andrews, the “Home of Golf.”
See the famous Royal and Ancient Clubhouse
and the Old Course and enjoy free time. Continue
into Edinburgh for a twilight city tour followed by
dinner at a waterside restaurant. (B, D)

Start your Edinburgh tour in the 200-year-old
“New Town.” See medieval townhouses along
the Royal Mile on the way to tour the imposing
Edinburgh Castle. The balance of the day is free
for independent touring and dining. (B)
Day 8 – Sun: Depart Edinburgh Airport
or Extend your Stay
If you are on an 8-day tour, take a group transfer to
arrive at Edinburgh Airport. If you have booked our
9-day tour, take an open-top hop-on hop-off bus
tour to see Edinburgh at your own pace. Transfer
to Edinburgh Airport on the following day. (B)
