Day 1 – Sun: Glasgow City <strong>Tour</strong><br />

Arrive in Glasgow Airport. At 2:30 pm take<br />

a coach tour around Glasgow’s main attractions<br />

and visit Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.<br />

Meet your tour director and fellow travelers<br />

over a welcome drink before dinner. (D)<br />

Day 2 – Mon: Loch Lomond Cruise<br />

& Inveraray Castle<br />

Take a short cruise on Loch Lomond to admire<br />

beautiful views. Take a guided tour through<br />

stately Inveraray Castle and walk around the<br />

village. Cross Rannoch Moor and pass through<br />

spectacular Glen Coe before arriving at your<br />

Day 3 – Tue: Isle of Skye &<br />

Clan Donald Centre<br />

Drive along the famous “Road to the Isles” and<br />

take a ferry to the Isle of Skye. Visit the Clan<br />

Donald Centre at Armadale Castle and drive<br />

through the island scenery. Head for Nairn to enjoy<br />

a special cabaret with Scottish music. (B, D)<br />

Day 4 – Wed: Culloden Battlefield<br />

& Distillery<br />

<strong>Tour</strong> Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre and see<br />

where Bonnie Prince Charlie was defeated in<br />

1746. Drive into Speyside to tour the Speyside<br />

Cooperage and also Glenfiddich Distillery to<br />

view whisky making and sample a “wee dram.”<br />

Continue to your 19th century mansion hotel<br />

Day 5 – Thu: Royal Deeside &<br />

Afternoon Tea<br />

Drive along “Royal Deeside” to Braemar, famous<br />

for its Highland games. Pass the Royal Family’s<br />

Balmoral Castle and visit the lovely Crathie<br />

Church. Stop at the Falls of Feugh for afternoon<br />

tea and a talk on Highland life. (B, D)<br />

Day 6 – Fri: Glamis Castle & St. Andrews<br />

Visit Glamis Castle, the legendary setting of<br />

“Macbeth” and childhood home of the late Queen<br />

Mother. Head to St. Andrews, the “Home of Golf.”<br />

See the famous Royal and Ancient Clubhouse<br />

and the Old Course and enjoy free time. Continue<br />

into Edinburgh for a twilight city tour followed by<br />
