Day 1 – Wed: Dublin & Kilmainham Gaol
Start at Dublin Airport with a group transfer to
your hotel between 7:00 am and 12:00 noon.
At 2:00 pm tour the city center to see prominent
places and visit Kilmainham Gaol. Meet your
fellow travelers over a welcome drink.
Day 2 – Thu: Ancient Tombs & Irish Night
Learn about the 5,000-year-old tombs of Knowth
and Newgrange and visit one of them. Return
to Dublin where the afternoon is at leisure for
shopping or sightseeing. Drive to a fun pub for a
hearty dinner and traditional Irish songs. (B, D)
Day 3 – Fri: Dunbrody & Waterford Crystal
Drive to New Ross to visit the Dunbrody Famine
Ship, a replica of a sailing vessel built in 1845 to
transport emigrants. Tour the House of Waterford
Crystal for a demonstration of glass blowing and
cutting before driving to Cork. (B, D)
Day 4 – Sat: Blarney Castle & Killarney
Visit Blarney Castle to kiss the famous “Stone of
Eloquence” and shop at the Blarney Woollen Mills.
Drive into County Kerry and through Kenmare. Stop
at Moll’s Gap for great views and continue along
part of the Ring of Kerry route into Killarney. (B, D)
Day 5 – Sun: Dingle Peninsula Tour
Explore the scenic Dingle Peninsula. Admire views
of heathery mountains, sandy beaches and rocky
headlands. Pause in Dingle before continuing to
the Blasket Centre in Dunquin to learn about the
offshore Blasket Islands. Return to Killarney. (B, D)
Day 6 – Mon: Flying Boats & Cliffs of Moher
Travel to Foynes to learn about the early days of
flight at the Flying Boat Museum. Drive to Bunratty
for free time before viewing the Cliffs of Moher,
that rise 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean. Drive
around Galway and check in to your hotel. (B, D)
Day 7 – Tue: “Quiet Man” & Connemara
Drive to the village of Cong where “The Quiet Man”
movie was made in 1952 for a guided walk around
movie locations. Drive through Connemara for
views of misty mountains and shimmering lakes,
stopping at Kylemore Abbey and Clifden. (B, D)
Day 8 – Wed: Country Life & Belleek
Travel to Castlebar to the Museum of Country Life
which displays articles used in everyday life. View
W. B. Yeats’ grave in Drumcliffe Churchyard and
visit Belleek Pottery Factory to see fine china-making.
Continue through Donegal to Derry. (B, D)

Day 9 – Thu: Giant’s Causeway & Derry
Explore the Giant’s Causeway, huge hexagonal
basalt columns and return to Derry for a walking
tour around the city’s ancient center, 16th century
walls and Tower Museum. (B, D)
Day 10 – Fri: Belfast & Cabra Castle Stay
Travel to Belfast for a panoramic tour with a local
guide. Head to Kingscourt to your castle hotel,
built in 1760. After dinner, youthful dancers will
display Irish step-dancing. (B, D)
Day 11 – Sat: Dublin Touring
Drive to Dublin and take an open-top bus tour
with a visit to Guinness or Jameson. (B)
Day 12 – Sun: Tour Ends Dublin Airport
