Day 1 – Wed: Tour Starts Shannon Airport
Transfer from Shannon Airport to Ashford Castle
in Cong, a distance of about 80 miles. Relax in
the afternoon and in the evening dine in Ashford
Castle’s lovely restaurant. (D)
Day 2 – Thu: Connemara & “Quiet Man”
Take a catamaran cruise around Killary Harbour,
Ireland’s only fjord, to see stunning scenery as
you sip an Irish coffee. Back in Cong take a
short walking tour to see where the 1952 movie,
“The Quiet Man” was made. Take a short drive
to the traditional Eddie’s Pub for dinner and
lively music.(B, D)
Day 3 – Fri: Museum of Country Life
& Belleek China
Visit the Museum of Country Life to see how
country people lived during the 19th and early
20th centuries. Travel to County Sligo, associated
with the poet, W. B. Yeats and stop to view his
grave. Tour the Belleek Pottery Factory to see
the making of fine china. Your next hotel is set
beside a lake outside Donegal town and is noted
for its outstanding cuisine and views. (B, D)
Day 4 – Sat: Slieve League Cliffs
& Donegal
Drive along the Donegal coast to view Slieve
League sea cliffs, dropping straight down to the
wild Atlantic waves. Enjoy coffee and homebaked
scones before driving through the majestic
Glengesh Pass to Ardara. Visit Triona Design to
see woolen goods and spend time in Donegal
town before returning to your hotel. (B, D)
Day 5 – Sun: Derry Walk &
Giant’s Causeway
Join a local guide for a walking tour to see
Derry’s medieval city walls and historic city
center. Visit the Giant’s Causeway, enormous
hexagonal columns formed over 60 million
years ago. Drive along the scenic “Nine Glens
of Antrim” and continue south to your hotel in
the heart of Belfast. (B, D)
Day 6 – Mon: Belfast & Titanic Quarter
See the highlights of Belfast this morning including

Day 7 – Tue: Dublin City Tour
Today you may plan your sightseeing tour of
Dublin as you wish by using your voucher for an
open-top bus tour around the city center. Stay on
the bus or get off and on as you wish. Also visit
either Guinness or Jameson for a tour and a drink.
The evening is free for independent activities. (B)
Day 8 – Wed: Tour Ends Dublin Airport
Transfer by taxi to Dublin Airport in good time to
check in for your flight home. (B)
