Down Syndrome Organization <strong>of</strong> Southern Nevada (DSOSN) - We are composed <strong>of</strong> some<br />

700 members: including people with Down Syndrome, their families and friends<br />

plus health-care, education and developmental pr<strong>of</strong>essionals. We are the only<br />

organization in our region devoted exclusively to the needs <strong>of</strong> people with Down<br />

Syndrome and their families. The majority <strong>of</strong> our services are available to members<br />

at no cost. The DSOSN is affiliated with the National Down Syndrome Society, the<br />

National Down Syndrome Congress and PACER.<br />

Dual Sensory Impairment Project - Provides educational services to children and youth,<br />

birth through 23 years, with vision and hearing impairments. The project provides<br />

statewide technical assistance to support parents, services providers and other<br />

service agencies in meeting the educational needs <strong>of</strong> children who have dual<br />
