Deaf and Hard <strong>of</strong> Hearing Advocacy <strong>Resource</strong> Center - We refer to Deaf and Hard <strong>of</strong> Hearing people<br />
as consumers or clients. We do have a telephone program to distribute all kinds <strong>of</strong> phone<br />
technologies to enable people with hearing losses to communicate over the phone. We<br />
provide compressive advocacy service to clients in the areas <strong>of</strong> employment, peer-to-peer<br />
counseling and communication needs.<br />

Down Syndrome Organization <strong>of</strong> Southern Nevada (DSOSN) - We are composed <strong>of</strong> some 700<br />
members: including people with Down syndrome, their families and friends plus healthcare,<br />
education and developmental pr<strong>of</strong>essionals. We are the only organization in our<br />
region devoted exclusively to the needs <strong>of</strong> people with Down Syndrome and their families.<br />
The majority <strong>of</strong> our services are available to members at no cost. The DSOSN is affiliated<br />
with the National Down Syndrome Society, the National Down Syndrome Congress and<br />
PACER.<br />
