Consumer Direct Personal Care - Consumer direct care is available to eligible individuals who need<br />
personal care services in their homes. Self directed care puts you in control allowing you to<br />
arrange and direct your own services. You select and manage your caregiver who may be a t<br />
rusted friend or relative. Eligible individuals must be capable <strong>of</strong> directing their own<br />
services or arranging for a representative to act on their behalf. Services include activities <strong>of</strong><br />
daily living, and other services such as meal preparation and light housekeeping, necessity<br />

Provide you with a "<strong>Resource</strong> Mother" who will visit you on a regular basis. Encourage<br />
completion or pursuit <strong>of</strong> educational goals. Be there to lend a hand when times get tough.<br />
Provide mother-to-mother support before, during and after the birth <strong>of</strong> your baby. Advise<br />
you on nutritional and health related issues. Help develop your parenting skills.<br />
