To strengthen the Berlin-Brandenburg media location
Who?
Production firms based in Brandenburg and Berlin or German
production companies (even as part of an international coproduction
group) producing a significant part of their maketo-order
productions in the Berlin-Brandenburg media region.
What?
Project-related loans and guarantees for intermediate financing
of film productions
Fiction and non-fiction TV formats and series are financed.
Subject to a commitment by the co-financing TV station.
Furthermore, we also offer intermediate financing of maketo-order
productions from other media areas (such as
games) if the customer‘s creditworthiness permits this.
The minimum sum for guaranteed credits and loans totals
EUR 100,000.
The terms and conditions are subject to applicant-specific
risk assessment.

How?
Informal applications can be submitted to Investitionsbank
Berlin (IBB) or Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg
(ILB).
Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH passes applications
received on to the Investitionsbank concerned. Applications
are checked and processed by ILB.
Documentation concerning the company and the project
must be additionally submitted in the format customary for
loans.
