Aim<br />
To provide outside <strong>and</strong> junior capital (programme variants A<br />
<strong>and</strong> B)<br />
Financing investment in Germany <strong>and</strong> abroad<br />
Financing of plant <strong>and</strong> equipment<br />
Projects of small <strong>and</strong> medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in a<br />
special SME window with more favourable interest rates<br />
Who?<br />
German <strong>and</strong> <strong>for</strong>eign companies in the commercial industries<br />
with a private majority shareholding who have been in<br />
business <strong>for</strong> at least three years <strong>and</strong> whose annual turnover<br />
(including affiliated companies) does not exceed EUR 500m<br />
(programme variant A) or SMEs (programme variant B)<br />
Freelance professionals, such as physicians, tax advisors, <strong>and</strong><br />
architects who have been active in business <strong>for</strong> at least three<br />
years<br />
Companies <strong>and</strong> freelance professionals who have been<br />
working <strong>and</strong>/or operating in the market <strong>for</strong> two years can<br />
apply <strong>for</strong> a 50% liability exemption within the scope of the<br />
risk-adapted interest system (programme variant A).<br />
Individuals renting or leasing commercial property on condition<br />
that the tenant also fulfils the application criteria<br />
The <strong>Subsidy</strong> Programmes Investment <strong>and</strong> Working Capital<br />
What?<br />
Investment (programme parts A <strong>and</strong> B) <strong>and</strong> working capital<br />
(programme part A only) up to 100%<br />
Programme part A: loan to be secured by customary collateral<br />
or, with 50% liability release up to a maximum sum of<br />
EUR 10m per project <strong>and</strong> subject matter (in the SME window<br />
with 50% liability release) up to a maximum sum of EUR 5m<br />
without an SME window<br />
Programme part B: liability release <strong>for</strong> the transmitting bank<br />
with a maximum loan sum of EUR 4m per project<br />
Financing from an integrated financing package consisting<br />
of a subordinated loan (variant B) <strong>and</strong> conventional loan<br />
(variant A) without liability release<br />
Risk-adequate interest rates <strong>for</strong> variants A <strong>and</strong> B<br />
How?<br />
Applications must be submitted prior to commencing the<br />
project.<br />
This programme can be combined with other subsidy programmes.<br />
