Aim<br />

Sustainable film production financing in Germany<br />

Who?<br />

Film production firms producing <strong>and</strong> having their registered<br />

office in Germany with a private majority shareholding <strong>and</strong><br />

annual turnover not exceeding EUR 500m.<br />

The production firm must prove relevant professional experience.<br />

What?<br />

Financing modules <strong>for</strong> different film production phases (development,<br />

knock-on, bridge, gap or intermediate financing)<br />

The <strong>Subsidy</strong> Programmes Investment <strong>and</strong> Working Capital<br />

How?<br />

Direct loans as single or syndicated loans<br />

The share is determined from case to case.<br />

Maximum KfW financing share of 50% as part of syndicated<br />

loans<br />

Maximum loan sum of EUR 3m (intermediate financing:<br />

maximum of EUR 5m), minimum amount of EUR 300,000<br />
