Development Camps<br />
The OMHA/<strong>Hockey</strong> Canada Skills<br />
Development Program is all about<br />
<strong>development</strong> opportunities for<br />
both players and coaches.<br />
This is accomplished through<br />
weekend skills camps for Atom<br />
and Pee Wee aged players. Each<br />
camp features two on-ice sessions<br />
that focus on the fundamental<br />
skills of shooting, skating, passing<br />
and puck handling. There are also<br />
two off-ice sessions which deal<br />
with respect in the game and office<br />
skill <strong>development</strong>.<br />
Players who attend these camps<br />
receive a Skills Camp jersey as well<br />
as a Team Canada mini-jersey and<br />
water bottle.<br />
OPTION 1 – Cost $70.00<br />
3 - ICE SESSIONS<br />
1) Skills Testing—1.5 hrs<br />
2) Skills for Improvement—1 hr<br />
3) Drills for Improvement—1 hr<br />
2 - OFF-ICE SESSIONS<br />
1) Respect / Team building / Video—1<br />

Camp Objectives<br />
• Develop / enhance the fundamental<br />

• Be introduced to the concepts<br />
of fair play, fitness, safety, teamwork,<br />
and the importance of a<br />
positive attitude.<br />
