The OMHA Coaching Technical<br />
Committee has worked diligently<br />
to implement the Revised<br />
National Coaching Certification<br />
Program (NCCP). Each<br />
year the OMHA certifies over<br />
5,000 coaches through NCCP<br />
clinics and the Continuing Education<br />
Program (CEP) for<br />
coaches.<br />
One of the most important<br />
distinctions for this new education/training<br />
model is that it is<br />
an athlete-centered approach<br />
to training coaches. This means<br />
the needs of the coach are<br />
defined by the needs of the<br />
athletes. Participants will be<br />
grouped with other coaches<br />
working at the same agegroup<br />
& level.<br />
