GROWFELT GROWING MEDIA
GrowFelt White:
• A cellulose based growing media suitable for the
propagation of ‘Greens’, including Sprouts,
Microleaf, Microherbs,Teenie Greens and Babyleaf.
• User friendly, convenient, no mess and lightweight.
Easier to handle than some of the other more
conventional growing media with reduced set up
and removal times.
• Good water absorption and retention capabilities
allowing for quick germination, uniform growth and
improved yields.
• The ‘needled’ mat helps aeration to the roots.
• Comprises of naturally hygienic fibres less prone to
harbouring bacteria than synthetic growing media
due to its rapid and high absorption capabilities.
• White colour aids in light reflection thus optimising
growth and gives it a ‘clean look’ where a living
product is required for retail.
• Dimensionally stable when damp unlike some of
the other growing mat substrates.
• Stays intact when assessing root health.
• Primarily for use in hydroponic systems, however,
also suitable for use in conjunction with peat /
