d. Throttle ⎯ Advance slowly at 12% NG<br />

and modulate throttle to maintain TGT<br />

within limits. Slowly advance to idle<br />

after TGT has decreased from initial<br />

peak.<br />

e. TGT ⎯ Increasing and within limits.<br />

f. ENG oil pressure ⎯ Check.<br />

g. Rotor blades ⎯ Beginning to turn by<br />

25% NG.<br />

h. START switch ⎯ Release at 55% NG.<br />

i. NG ⎯ Check stabilized at idle (63 to<br />

65%).<br />

NOTE<br />

For cold temperature starts, if ENG OIL<br />

and/or XMSN OIL pressures are above<br />

limits, or ENG OIL and/or XMSN OIL<br />

temperatures are below limits, do not<br />

accelerate engine above idle.<br />

ENGINE ⎯ START (AUTOMATIC<br />

a. AUTO/MAN switch ⎯ Check AUTO.<br />
