2. Missile launcher ⎯ Check as follows:<br />
a. SAFE/ARM switch ⎯ SAFE.<br />
b. Umbilical connector ⎯ Check<br />
connected to launcher. Pullaway cable<br />
connected to rack and connector.<br />
c. Missiles ⎯ Check missile security on<br />
rail and that holdback release handle is<br />
in the LATCH position.<br />
3. Rails ⎯ Check as follows:<br />
a. Grounding straps ⎯ Check.<br />
b. Electrical cover plate ⎯ Down (if missile<br />
not installed).<br />
CAUTION<br />
If only one missile is loaded on a launcher,<br />
the missile shall be loaded on the<br />
outboard launcher rail.<br />
c. Missile load configuration ⎯ Per<br />
mission requirement.<br />
d. Swaybrace and jamnuts ⎯ Check.<br />
