Registration is open for the 46th Annual
UK Conference on Human Response to
Vibration, organised by the Health and
Safety Executive and Health and Safety
Laboratory. The conference will be held
in Buxton, Derbyshire on 20th - 22nd
September 2011.
The conference provides a technical
forum for exchange of information,
dissemination of research findings
and the opportunity to be updated
on current issues related to human
exposure to vibration. Presented
papers will cover all aspects of handtransmitted
vibration, whole-body
vibration and motion sickness.
This annual conference usually
attracts a diverse mix of delegates
from industry, academia, consultancy,
military and government, with
backgrounds in health and safety,
engineering, psychology, medicine,
physiology, science and ergonomics.
While the conference is usually based
in the UK, it always attracts a significant
number of overseas experts.
Delegate fees are £275 + VAT which
will include conference proceedings,
lunches / refreshments and conference
dinner. Registration closes on 17 June.
