field. Strong analytical <strong>and</strong> problem-solving skills are desired. Will work as part of an existing<br />

ELECTRONICS HARDWARE ENGINEER<br />

Will design <strong>and</strong> develop innovative, complex signal processing algorithms in large field<br />

programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) <strong>and</strong>/or digital signal processing (DSP) <strong>and</strong> embedded<br />

processors in support of rapid systems prototyping of high-performance embedded signal,<br />

image, <strong>and</strong> communications systems.<br />

Qualifications: MS in Electrical Engineering or BS with several years of experience.<br />

Proficiency in VHDL <strong>and</strong>/or real-time environments using C <strong>and</strong> C++ is required. Must have<br />

expertise in architectural design of embedded digital hardware, as well as detailed, h<strong>and</strong>s-on<br />

experience in the implementation of signal <strong>and</strong> image processing algorithms using FPGA or<br />

DSP technology. Strong communication skills, both oral <strong>and</strong> written, are required. Must be<br />

RADAR / COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS ENGINEER<br />

Will work in the architecture, design, <strong>and</strong> development of advanced sensors. Examples of<br />

advanced sensors are phased-array digitally steered antennas, multichannel beamforming<br />

<strong>and</strong> conformal wideb<strong>and</strong> multifunction sensors. Responsibilities may include phased-array<br />

design for radar, signals, or communications applications; antenna, analog RF, <strong>and</strong> digital<br />

hardware development; electromagnetic modeling; <strong>and</strong> system integration <strong>and</strong> testing. Will<br />

participate in formulating innovative radar systems concepts to meet future operational needs,<br />

including concepts for netting <strong>and</strong> integration of data from sensors on diverse platforms, such<br />

as manned aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, <strong>and</strong> satellites, as well as ground sensors.<br />
