“In contrast to the German
economy, the Russian
economy has clearly picked
up speed. This also applies
to the Russian construction
business. This positive development
will also benefit
quick-mix. Thus we are looking
confidently to the future,
a future we will be able to
shape for the better together
with you, our Russian cooperation
partners.”
Chairman of the Supervisory Board of
The four different V.O.R. masonry
mortars, whose application depends
on the ability of the stones to absorb
water, the tubag trass system for
gardening, landscaping and laying
natural stone, as well as the plaster
systems matched to the subsurface,
are all unique products on the Russian
market offered exclusively from
quick-mix.
After beginning operations, the plant
has to apply for a so-called hygiene
certificate for the products it makes.
Successively, all products are certified
in order to obtain the Russian GOST-R
Certificate of Conformity.
Only the mixtures, trass powder, foam
glass and anhydrite are imported from
Germany to supply production. Using
local raw materials enables offering
attractive prices by saving on logistics,
customs and import duties. Local
production also means an improvement
in service through quicker ex
warehouse delivery.
Additionally to the strong demanded
professional quick-mix products
(which have been imported to Russia
by ZAO quick-mix exclusively since
2007) running production in Russia
makes it possible to meet the growing
demand of end consumers for “simple”
products at hardware stores and
“In an age when virtual business
is becoming ever more
important, I am happy to live
in a country where what is
real and genuine prevails.
‘What you see is what you
get.’ There is energy coursing
through Moscow that you
only really notice when you
go back to Western Europe,
where everything plods along
in its accustomed way. There
is nothing artificial about Russia,
it has soul. Russia is the
opposite of virtual.
