Also new to the PACK & SEND UK network is Nick
Jennings for the busy commercial and passenger port
town of Southampton. Nick is a highly experienced
businessman, having already built one business and sold
it very successfully.
Situated opposite Debenhams, one of the UK’s top
retailers, PACK & SEND Southampton is located at
the South Eastern Edge of New Forest which is heavily
concentrated with art and antique dealers. Measuring
2,500 sq ft, PACK & SEND Southampton is one of the
largest stores in the retail network.
To assist at the store, Nick has recruited two staff: Colin
MacDonald and Rob Hunt.
Finishing their fi rst week at time of printing, the store had
great news to share:
“It’s circa 1600 hours on Saturday 31st July and we
are coming to the end of week one,” Colin McDonald
reports.
“Mike Ryan has been with us this week but we are fl ying
solo next week. Our total number of estimates are 32
and over 50% of our estimates have been walk ins.”
According to Colin, money is already in the till with good
sales made. “We also have circa £6000 of enquiries …
one job is £2300 pounds to Egypt by air!”
