2010 (soPhomore): An honorable mention All-Big 12 selection ... played in all 12 games,<br />
drawing three starts ... recorded 43 tackles, 30 of them unassisted ... led team with four<br />
interceptions and nine pass break-ups ... returned eight punts on the year for an average of<br />
11.5 yards per return and one touchdown ... reached the end zone in each of the first two<br />
games of the season, scoring on a 38-yard interception return in the season-opening win<br />
over Stephen F. Austin and taking a punt back 54 yards for a touchdown against Louisiana<br />
Tech ... picked off a pass and contributed three tackles at Oklahoma State ... returned an<br />
interception 83 yards to set up a touchdown at Kansas ... Notched a season-best seven<br />
tackles, including six solo stops in a road victory over Baylor .... intercepted a pass during<br />

2009 (Freshman): A member of ESPN.com’s Big 12 All-Freshman team ... appeared in 12<br />
games, starting the first 10 ... was the only true freshman to earn the starting nod on the<br />
defensive side of the ball (cornerback) in the first 10 games ... recorded five tackles, broke<br />
up a pass and grabbed first career interception in Independence Bowl against Georgia<br />
(12/28) ... sat out the Baylor win (11/21) with an ankle injury ... 35 tackles ranks 10th<br />
on the <strong>Aggie</strong> defense ... five tackles, including first career sack, at Colorado (11/7) ... six<br />
tackles, four solo, at Kansas State (10/17) ... third on the team with eight tackles, including<br />
one for loss, against Oklahoma State (10/10) ... tallied seven tackles (one for loss) against<br />
Utah State (9/19) ... also A&M’s punt returner for a good part of the year, his 33-yard return<br />
vs UAB was the longest by an A&M player since 2005.<br />
HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Randy Rowe at Livingston High School ... earned 20-4A Distict<br />
MVP honors as a senior (2008) … named second-team All-State by The Associated Press and<br />
the TSWA … as a junior dual-threat quarterback (2007), ran for 729 yards on just 88 carries<br />
(8.3 avg.) and scored 13 touchdowns … also threw for 433 yards and five touchdowns …<br />
intercepted eight passes, four of which he returned for touchdowns … earned All-District<br />
honors as a utility back as a junior … led Livingston to berth in the 4A Regional Semi-Finals<br />
in 2007 … clocked a blistering 10.8 in the 100 meters at the Region 3 track meet in April of<br />
2008 … won District 18-4A with a high jump of 6’6”.<br />
