the <strong>Aggie</strong>s’ win over Texas Tech and was lost for the season … had gained 631 yards on 126<br />
carries with four touchdowns in the first eight games, which included six starts … also had<br />
13 catches for 174 yards … opened the season with three straight 100 yard rushing games<br />
-- had 22-105 vs. Stephen F. Austin, 14-107 vs. Louisiana Tech and 21-119 vs. FIU … had a<br />
season-long run of 67 against Louisiana Tech.<br />
2009 (Freshman): Named the Big 12’s Offensive Freshman of the Year by both the<br />
league’s head coaches and The Dallas Morning News ... was The Oklahoman’s Big 12<br />
Freshman of the Year ... named to collegefootballnews.com’s Freshman All-America third<br />
team and ESPN.com’s Big 12 All-Freshman team ... played in 12 games, starting four ... led<br />
the team with 844 rushing yards and 10 TDs ... had two 100-yard rushing games and a pair<br />
of two-TD efforts ... ran for 77 yards and a score in Independence Bowl against Georgia<br />
(12/28) ... rushed for 83 yards and a crucial touchdown on 19 carries against No. 3 Texas<br />
(11/26) ... set a school record with a 97-yard TD run in win over Baylor (11/21) ... finished<br />
the game with a game-high 116 yards and two scores, the second 100-yard effort of his<br />

Butkus Award winner Von Miller’s backup at the <strong>Aggie</strong>s’ “joker” … turned in an impressive<br />
stat line of 40 tackles, including 5.5 QB sacks, and also contributed an interception and a<br />
team-high three forced fumbles … was named National Defensive Performer of the Week<br />
by the College Football Performance Awards after coming off the bench to make a seasonhigh<br />
seven tackles, including two QB sacks and another tackle for loss of yardage in the<br />
<strong>Aggie</strong>s 48-16 win over Louisiana Tech … Moore also forced three fumbles and recovered<br />
one against the Bulldogs.<br />
HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Kiff Hardin at Rowlett High School ... an honorable mention<br />
all-state selection by The Associated Press as a senior (2009) ... was a first-team all-area<br />

Von Miller … had a season-high six tackles against Louisiana Tech … saw extended action<br />
against Texas after starter Tony Jerod-Eddie went out with an injury and responded with<br />
five tackles.<br />
2009 (Freshman): Played significantly in all 13 games as a true freshman and was one<br />
of first defensive linemen off the bench ... one of seven true freshmen to appear in all 13<br />
games (Campbell, Nealy, Nwachukwu, Porter, Stewart, Terrell, Valencia) ... set a season<br />
best with four stops and a sack in win over Baylor (11/21) ... notched two stops against<br />
Oklahoma State (10/10) and at Colorado (11/7) ... lone tackle against Arkansas (10/3) was<br />
