TEXAS A&M, 1988<br />
Gary Reynolds, a longtime NFL veteran who holds two degrees from Texas A&M, is<br />
in his fourth season as the director of football operations and research and development<br />
under head football coach Mike Sherman.<br />
Reynolds earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial distribution in 1988 from Texas<br />
A&M and while he completed work on his master’s degree in education administration in<br />
the spring of 1992, he worked with Tim Cassidy as a graduate assistant in the <strong>Aggie</strong> football<br />
recruiting office.<br />
“It is fun and exciting to be able to come home to <strong>Aggie</strong>land,” Reynolds said upon his<br />
hire. “I believe in this school, and I believe in Mike Sherman. Those two reasons are why I<br />
wanted to be back at Texas A&M.”<br />
Upon receiving his master’s degree, Reynolds accepted the assistant recruiting<br />
coordinator position at the University of Tennessee in 1992.<br />
In 1993, Reynolds joined the Green Bay Packers organization first as the administrative<br />
assistant for football operations from 1993-95. He spent the next three years as the<br />
offensive assistant and quality control coach for the Packers from 1996-98.<br />
When Mike Holmgren moved to the Seattle Seahawks he took Reynolds with him.<br />
Reynolds served in all areas of the Seahawks’ organization working closely with Holmgren<br />
as assistant to the general manager from 1999 and 2000 and then as director of football<br />
administration in 2001 and 2002 until he assumed the position of offensive assistant and<br />
quality control coach for Seattle from 2003-2007.<br />
Gary and his wife, Beth, have two daughters, Hannah and Olivia.<br />
