The <strong>Calgary</strong> Wanderers (hiking and walking) invites you to<br />

join them any or all of their hikes. Hikes occur every<br />

Wednesday until October 17 th . For additional details, please<br />

consult the Hiking Binder by the Sports Office. Register on<br />

GameTime or in person at the Sports Office, no charge.<br />

Coffee Party<br />

Due to an overwhelming participation with our coffee<br />

parties, there will be a $2.00 charge effective September to<br />

help to cover the costs for the coffee/cookies. Please register<br />

on GameTime or in person at the Sports Office.<br />

what we have to offer. Speak with the activity representatives,<br />

visit our beautiful sunrooms and learn what the 55+ Section<br />

has to offer!<br />

CwC Choristers<br />

We would like to thank Gwyn Gillette for her many years of<br />

commitment and contribution to the Choristers. She has<br />

decided to retire and let someone else take the over the keys!<br />

If you or someone you think might be interested, please<br />

contact Jodi directly at403-338-4506.<br />

Choristers will begin again on September 21 st and meet the<br />

first and third Friday every month from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm<br />

in the 55+ Room.<br />

Chief Rick Hanson returns after a two years absence. His topic<br />

will be <strong>Calgary</strong>’s NEW CHILD ADVOCACY CENTRE. It deals<br />

with supporting victims of child abuse and their families.<br />

The menu will be Mixed Greens with a variety of dressings, Salmon<br />

Fillet with Tomato Olive Relish, Chef’s Choice of Potatoes, Vegetable<br />

of the Day, Fresh Buns, Butter, Plated Fruit Tart and Coffee and Tea<br />

11:30 am | wednesday, October 3 rd<br />

We are welcoming the CALGARY ZOO back also after a<br />

two year absence. Kevin Strange (a CWC member) will be the<br />

presenter. The menu will include Mixed Greens, variety of<br />

dressings, Southern Fried Chicken, Herb Roasted Potatoes,<br />

Vegetable of the Day, Coffee and Tea<br />

You may sign up for the next luncheon at the current<br />

luncheon or after 6:00 pm that day, in-person or on-line<br />

if not attending the previous luncheon. Cost is $20 per person.
