BV. Emerging Leaders Program (ELP)<br />
6.1 <strong>Flextronics</strong>’ Human Resource Management Strategy<br />
The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) provides first-time leaders with the knowledge, tools, <strong>res</strong>ources and<br />
opportunity to enhance their leadership skills, better manage their teams, drive improvements, and demonstrate<br />
<strong>Flextronics</strong>’ leadership traits and behaviors. The program focuses on areas such as the <strong>Flextronics</strong> Leadership<br />
Model, Facilitating and Accelerating Change, Conflict Resolution, Optimizing Teams, Improving Personal<br />
Effectiveness, Collaborative Leadership, Optimizing Conversation, Engaging and Inspiring Leadership, and Coaching<br />
Employees. As of 2011, 720 leaders have completed this program.<br />
BVI. Frontline Leaders Program (FLP)<br />
This program equips frontline leaders with basic supervisory skills to help them effectively lead, motivate and develop<br />
their direct labor employees. Over 45 leaders have benefitted from this program, which was piloted in late 2010.<br />
BVII. Leader Success Accelerator (LSA)<br />
The Leader Success Accelerator (LSA) program is a special on-boarding initiative targeted at newly-hired or<br />
transitional senior leaders. This program aims to:<br />
■ Accelerate leadership proficiency levels<br />
■ Acclimate new leaders with <strong>Flextronics</strong>’ culture<br />
■ Take advantage of valuable networking opportunities<br />
■ Avoid pitfalls and barriers that often derail leaders in transition<br />
■ Improve time-to-productivity.<br />
BVIII. Lunch & Learn Program<br />
This is an informal learning session held during lunch hour to educate and inspire business leaders. Various topics<br />
including <strong>CSER</strong> and customer care are shared during these sessions.<br />
BIX. Total Rewards<br />
The <strong>Flextronics</strong> Total Rewards philosophy is based on a differentiated “Reward for Performance” model with the<br />
