Joseph Doris<br />
Tlingit<br />
Ronan (as he prefers to be called) is hoping to pursue a career in music,<br />
psychology or neurology. In his spare time he enjoys playing the bass,<br />
singing and writing poetry and is a sergeant in Cadets. His favourite teacher<br />
has been Ms. Quinn from <strong>Grad</strong>e 9. Ronan would like to acknowledge and<br />
thank his mom, dad, Captain Jeffries, Geezer Butler, Mr. Staples and Mme.<br />
Flagg, for all their support and encouragement throughout the years. His<br />
role model is his father who has inspired him through his dedication to hard<br />
work and music. His advice to fellow students, “Relax, because no one goes<br />
looking to start a fight.”<br />
Breandan McGhee<br />

Gregory Duggan, Red Sky Métis<br />
Jorden Rocheleau, Iroquois<br />
Breandan’s future plans include studying English at Camosun. He enjoys<br />
writing and filming movies which led him to receiving a bursary to attend<br />
the Gulf Islands Film & Television <strong>School</strong>. His favourite teacher and<br />
mentor has been Mr. Gray who over the last four years has helped him<br />
find out where his true talent lies. Breandan would like to acknowledge<br />
and thank his mother and father, John Gray, Zack Mitchner and Marina<br />
Ma for all their support and encouragement over the years. His role<br />
model has been his father because he has taught him everything he needs<br />
to know. His advice to fellow students, “Keep at it, try hard, and don’t<br />
give up. It’s a long road ahead but you will enjoy every minute of it!”<br />
Hannah-Lyn McLeod-Mckay<br />
Métis<br />
Hannah is planning to attend the University of Calgary to further a<br />
career in the military, police force or work for CSIS. In her spare time<br />
she enjoys playing fastball, video games and reading. Her<br />
accomplishments include a MVP award in fastball and various other<br />
awards from middle school and work. Her favourite teacher has been<br />
Mrs. Horlor because she was nice to her in her Law class. Hannah would<br />
like to acknowledge and thank her parents who are her role models as<br />
they have supported and encouraged her throughout the years. Her<br />
advice to fellow students, “Don’t do your homework at the last minute.”
