Monitoring <strong>systems</strong><br />

PV plant software<br />

Smart software <strong>for</strong> collecting data <strong>and</strong> monitoring<br />

<strong>photovoltaic</strong> plants<br />

The ideal addition to the Transclinic xi+ string monitoring,<br />

it consists of two program modules:<br />

The configuration module<br />

The configuration module allows you to easily integrate the<br />

devices <strong>and</strong> facility components to be monitored (device<br />

combiner boxes, inverters, meters, weather sensors, etc.).<br />

These components can then be organised, grouped <strong>and</strong><br />

renamed as needed. The users can easily specify e-mail or<br />

SMS-text messages that are to be sent out automatically as<br />

an alarm to any specific group. The configuration module also<br />

accesses the data needed <strong>for</strong> monitoring the <strong>photovoltaic</strong><br />

plant online.<br />

The visualisation module<br />

The visualisation module is used to view <strong>and</strong> save the online data that<br />

has been sent to the PC. The data describing the current states of<br />

the <strong>photovoltaic</strong> system can be saved in the mySQL database <strong>and</strong><br />

displayed graphically to permit more detailed analysis. The data can<br />

also be exported as an Excel or PDF file <strong>and</strong> then be sent in an<br />

e-mail. It is also possible to administer the alarms <strong>and</strong> their<br />

acknowledgements; this permits the schedule of the corresponding<br />

service procedures to be accurately documented.<br />

Universal <strong>and</strong> vendor-neutral<br />

Many different devices, regardless of br<strong>and</strong>, can be integrated<br />

into PV-Plant. Using the RTU Modbus, the data from frequency<br />

inverters or weather sensors can be displayed <strong>and</strong> evaluated.<br />

Clearly arranged alarm controls<br />

Intuitive configuration<br />

A clear tree based topology is used<br />

<strong>for</strong> the configuration. Values can be<br />

displayed <strong>and</strong> changed using drag<br />

<strong>and</strong> drop mouse clicks.<br />

The causes of the alarm (e.g., value deviation)<br />

<strong>and</strong> the alarm types (e.g., SMS-text, e-mail)<br />

can be configured flexibly.
