In order to achieve higher system voltages, single panels are connected in<br />
series during the installation of <strong>photovoltaic</strong> panels <strong>for</strong>ming so-called<br />
“strings”. For this application <strong>Weidmüller</strong> offers terminals resisting a particular<br />
insulation test. This makes sure that the terminals permanently resist a<br />
voltage of 1,000 V DC under any climatic conditions.<br />
<strong>Weidmüller</strong> provides fuse carriers <strong>for</strong> the proven cylindrical 10.3 mm x 38<br />
mm (13/32“ x 1.5“) fuses that are suitable <strong>for</strong> mounting on DIN rails. They are<br />
compact, protected against accidental contact <strong>and</strong> in compliance with the<br />
requirements of the IEC.<br />
