3. CONCLUSION<br />

<strong>The</strong> currently implemented ma<strong>the</strong>matical model for <strong>the</strong> analysis <strong>of</strong> <strong>Mekometer</strong><br />

distances as explained in section two is sufficient but should be extended to <strong>the</strong> model<br />

described in section 2.3. if o<strong>the</strong>r EDM instruments with less accuracy have to be calibrated<br />

<strong>and</strong> compared to <strong>Mekometer</strong> data. <strong>The</strong> exp<strong>and</strong>ed model covers most possible cases for<br />

analyzing baseline measurements <strong>and</strong> is <strong>the</strong>refore more flexible<br />

All <strong>ME5000</strong> instruments participating in <strong>the</strong> 1992 measurement campaign on <strong>the</strong><br />

<strong>SLAC</strong> baseline fell within <strong>the</strong> defined accuracy range provided by KERN.<br />
