Hi Nobles,
Here we are looking at the November issue, and that of course
means Christmas is coming up fast. I certainly hope all is well
in your households, and that you don't have to suffer any
setbacks or tragedies this next few months.
As I reflect back on the past year, and the time since I started
being the Editor, I can't help but think of the many Nobles that
have made themselves known to me, through a warm handshake
or a nice e-mail and even in a letter. It is things like this
that make the whole job worth the effort.
Most went on to be friends, and they will be in the archives of
my little mind for years.(the mind is getting smaller, or has
less capacity, than it used to)
This is supposedly my last issue as the Editor, and you can be
sure that there are parts of the job that I will miss for years,
and hopefully I can still meet and greet my fellow Nobles as
friends.
Let me once again acknowledge the new candidates who went
in at the Spring Ceremonial, and I hope you have found a
comfortable place to be within one of the many Clubs, or
Units in your vicinity, Please get involved, and be a part of our
great Fraternity.
I also hope that you are contemplating going on in your
Masonic Career, by going through the chairs in your Lodge,
and going up by becoming a member of the Scottish, or York
Rite. Personally I have 32 Degrees in the Scottish Rite, and
have recently been reinstated to the York Rite, and have
reached the position of Royal Arch Mason, and most recently
I became a member of the Preceptory, so eventually my
Masonic Career will have taken me to the completion of both
Rites, and please let me recommend your perusal to going
one way or the other or both.
Please accept this as my humble Goodbye, and Thanks for
letting me be your Editor for the past few years.

Earl C. Todd
It is with great sadness that we
announce the passing of
Noble Earl Todd.
Earl was initiated into Sunnyside
Lodge #582 1951 past and raised
Scarborough, Ont. Affi liated to
Centennial Lodge #684 1980,
member of London Lodge of Perfection,
Rose Croix, Moore Sovereign
Consistory 32 degree,
Mocha Shriners 1978 and the
Royal Order of Jesters.
Earl always had a passion for the Mocha Concert Band
whether he was playing or conducting.
The band brought him many years of pleasure.
Earl enjoyed socializing, telling stories or just having
a beer in the bar with one and all. Everyone’s best wishes
and good thoughts will always be remembered.
Earl is survived by Lady Wilda, his loving wife of 60 years,
2 sons, 2 daughters, their partners and 13 grand children
(one great grand child on the way).

Our calendar is quickly fi lling up
