Patricio Albacete ma<strong>de</strong> his <strong>de</strong>but in the Pumas in the South American Tournament<br />

in Montevi<strong>de</strong>o (Uruguay) in 2003. Only after a couple of months, he had the<br />

privilege of being part of the Pumas team that won against France in Buenos<br />

Aires that same year. Patricio, who played his second <strong>Rugby</strong> World Cup in 2007<br />

in France, was also part of the U19 as well as the U21 National Teams, being<br />

captain in both. His outstanding participation in those National Teams gave him<br />

the possibility to join the Pumas squad. He was part of the Buenos Aires Province<br />

squad, where he obtained two titles. In his country, he played at the club<br />

Manuel Belgrano and afterwards travelled to France, where he <strong>de</strong>fen<strong>de</strong>d the<br />

colours of Colomiers, Pau and Toulouse, in which he was crowned champion<br />

this year. Albacete is one of most experienced players in the Argentine team and<br />

one of its lea<strong>de</strong>rs On the field.<br />

Did you know? He has only been substitute player in one out of the 40 test<br />

matches he played for the National Teams.
