Patricio Albacete made his debut in the Pumas in the South American Tournament
in Montevideo (Uruguay) in 2003. Only after a couple of months, he had the
privilege of being part of the Pumas team that won against France in Buenos
Aires that same year. Patricio, who played his second Rugby World Cup in 2007
in France, was also part of the U19 as well as the U21 National Teams, being
captain in both. His outstanding participation in those National Teams gave him
the possibility to join the Pumas squad. He was part of the Buenos Aires Province
squad, where he obtained two titles. In his country, he played at the club
Manuel Belgrano and afterwards travelled to France, where he defended the
colours of Colomiers, Pau and Toulouse, in which he was crowned champion
this year. Albacete is one of most experienced players in the Argentine team and
one of its leaders On the field.
