Juan Figallo was first called for by the Pumas Head Coach Santiago Phelan to
dispute the test match against South Africa in August 2008. The prop made his
debut in the U19 National Team in 2006 against Samoa. He took his first steps in
rugby at the Jockey Club in the province of Salta, and is currently in Montpellier
with several other Argentine players. Figallo is a very strong player and with a
good height. During 2010, he played with the Pumas in June and November, and
this year he was part of the team against the French Barbarians and the team
Sudamérica Invitación.
Did you know? Juan Figallo used to be very fond of basketball and even told
his dad he wanted to play that sport. His old man's response was: "Well, you'll
play both, basketball and rugby". And thanks to his father, he is now playing a
World Cup.
