The GA amended I.C. § 6-1.1-25-4 (effective January 1, 2007) to clarify the<br />

periods <strong>of</strong> redemption for real property. This amendment also clarifies the<br />

powers <strong>of</strong> the county executive who has been issued a tax deed. 232<br />

The GA amended I.C. § 6-1.1-25-4.5 (effective January 1, 2007) to clarify<br />

eligibility to obta<strong>in</strong> a tax deed to real property. 233<br />

The GA amended I.C. § 6-1.1-25-4.6 (effective January 1, 2007) to add the<br />

county executive to the list <strong>of</strong> persons who may give notice <strong>of</strong> fil<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> a petition<br />

for tax deed. 234<br />

The GA amended I.C. § 12-20-21-2 (effective July 1, 2006) to clarify that<br />

township assistance money may not be comm<strong>in</strong>gled. 235<br />

reasons why the county commissioners or council or DLGF may not approve a<br />

The GA amended I.C. § 12-20-24-8 (effective July 1, 2006) to specify the<br />

approval time frames for permission to borrow money under this chapter. 240<br />

The GA amended I.C. § 12-20-25-30 (effective July 1, 2006) to change the<br />

applicable cite for the control board’s supervision <strong>of</strong> the township trustee’s<br />

adm<strong>in</strong>istration <strong>of</strong> assistance loan from I.C. § 12-20-23 to I.C. § 12-20-24. 241<br />
