CHAPTER 3<br />
<strong>SHOWPIX</strong>® Menu System<br />
Note: If the Enter button is not pressed, the old value will remain selected<br />
after exiting the menu.<br />
Set Parameters Menu<br />
The Set Parameters menu sets all factory options to their default settings or changes the factory<br />
options individually.<br />
Factory Default Settings<br />
A <strong>SHOWPIX</strong> fixture ships with the following factory default settings:<br />
Pan Tilt Swap=DISABLED Tilt Invert=DISABLED Protocol=STANDARD<br />
Pan Invert=DISABLED Display Level=ON Data Loss Timeout=SHORT<br />
If any of the default settings are changed, this menu reverts to the OFF option. The ON option<br />
restores all factory defaults.<br />
To check and reset factory defaults:<br />
1. Press the Menu button to unlock the menu system or to move back up the system to the<br />
top level menus.<br />
2. Using the left and right arrows on the Center button, scroll through the top level to SET<br />
PARAMETERS MENU and press the Enter button to select.<br />
3. Using the left and right arrows on the Center button, scroll to FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS.<br />
The current state (ON or OFF) will be displayed.<br />
4. To reinstate the factory defaults if OFF is displayed, use the up and down arrows on the<br />
Center button to scroll to ON and press the Enter button to select.<br />
Pan/Tilt Swap<br />
This option swaps the pan motor and tilt motor<br />
operation to coordinate movements between fix-<br />
tures on a link mounted perpendicular to each other.<br />
To swap Pan and Tilt:<br />
1. Press the Menu button to unlock the menu<br />
system or to move back up the system to the<br />
top level menus.<br />
2. Using the left and right arrows on the Center<br />
button, scroll through the top level to<br />
SET PARAMETERS MENU and press the Enter button<br />
to select.<br />
3. Using the left and right arrows on the Center button, scroll to PAN/TILT SWAP. The current<br />
state (ENABLED or DISABLED) will be displayed.<br />
4. Use the up and down arrows on the Center button to scroll to ENABLED to swap pan and tilt<br />
or DISABLED to revert fixture to default setting and press the Enter button to select.<br />
