26 BUILDING PANORAMICS FOR AMPLEFORTH Building Panoramics specialise in producing incredible photographs of buildings and their locations. We strive to produce images that beautifully represent the unique nature of the buildings and locations that are a key part of Britain's heritage. Using a specialist photographic technique that we call eyesview, we produce a photograph that really captures the view of a location as you truly see it with your eyes. We take great care to select views that represent the unique character of each place, taking time to capture the light that best reflects the details of the architecture and the atmosphere of the environment in which it stands. Building Panoramics LLP aim to provide a product that is carefully crafted, artistic, accurate and of particular importance to the people who have a personal interest in a building, or a collection of buildings and the local area that they occupy. The eyesview technique allows a level of detail that is only achieved with the most high end capture devices used in photography. This allows the picture to have a quality and realism, that gives the viewer a sense that they can walk right into the picture. Building Panoramics take great care to produce a unique and artistic picture, taking inspiration from the great painters of the past, making sure that the light, atmosphere and composition of the picture captures the true magic and splendour of the place. Our main focus is on the unique buildings that make up the United Kingdom’s schools and colleges. In our opinion, these buildings represent an incredibly diverse collection of architectural styles and often reside in remarkable locations. Old Amplefordian Rifle Club Old Amplefordians have a tradition of being competitive and accomplished shots. The OA Rifle Club is hoping to rejuvenate this enthusiasm for the sport and bring together those Amplefordians in the area who might wish to participate in local competitions. Ampleforth College maintains its excellence in this curriculum, the schools team having recently won the National Small Bore Shooting Competition - they are sure to be a worthy competitor! The CCF department will be hosting a Centenary Tattoo in the afternoon of Exhibition Saturday 28th May and would welcome any Old Amplefordians interested in joining the OA Rifle Club to come along.
