Live disable alarm: Choose whether to invoke the warning message when a scene change<br />

Select Auto to close the warning message (Figure 3-41) automatically or select <strong>Manual</strong> to<br />

close it manually. Under Delay Time(s), you can define the duration of a scene change to<br />

invoke the message. The range of delay time is from 1 to 99999 seconds.<br />

Never Recycle: When the item is checked, the event files of scene changes will not be<br />

recycled by the system.<br />

Demo: See three examples of Focus Change <strong>and</strong> View Change. Click the Play button to see<br />

the demonstration.<br />

Skip Instant Light Change: Ignores sudden illumination changes <strong>and</strong> avoids false alarms.<br />

For example, light switches can cause illumination changes suddenly. With the option<br />

selected, the system will ignore significant illumination changes without triggering the alarm<br />

<strong>and</strong> continue monitoring. See the Note in Crowd Detection later in this chapter for possible<br />

risk.<br />

3. To activate the function at certain times only, click the Schedule button <strong>and</strong> select Active<br />

Schedule. For details, see Video Analysis Schedule later in this chapter.<br />

4. Click OK to apply the settings.<br />

5. Start monitoring to run the application.<br />

When a scene change is detected, a warning message will appear on live video (if Live Disable<br />

Alarm is enabled), the selected alarm or output will be activated, <strong>and</strong> the event will be recorded as<br />

Scene Change in <strong>System</strong> Log for later retrieval.
