Cada una de las dovelas que forman el anillo será colocada<br />
por medio del erector (8), capaz de manejar un peso máximo<br />
de 17 toneladas, y cuyo sistema de cogida será por vacío.<br />
Como particularidad, los moldes para estas dovelas serán<br />
los más grandes fabricados por Herrenknecht Formwork, la<br />
empresa adjudicataria del suministro.<br />
El back-up de la tuneladora está formado por tres carros<br />
que alojan todos los equipos y sistemas de alimentación<br />
que permiten avanzar al escudo.<br />
Así en el carro 1 se encuentra:<br />
• cabina de control<br />
• tanques de mortero y las<br />
bombas de inyección a través<br />
del escudo de cola<br />
• bomba de aspiración del<br />
lodo bentonítico de la cámara<br />
de trabajo<br />
• mesa de dovelas<br />
En el carro 2 quedan situados:<br />
• transformadores de media<br />
tensión<br />
• cuadros eléctricos de distribución en baja tensión<br />
• contenedor que aloja a los variadores de velocidad<br />
del accionamiento principal<br />
• tanques de aceite hidráulico y los equipos de pre<br />
sión para los diferentes sistemas: cilindros de empuje,<br />
articulación de la cabeza de corte, erector, etc.<br />

The TBM’s back-up consists of three cars<br />
that hold all of the equipment and the<br />
supply systems that allow the shield to<br />
move forward<br />
Each one of the segments that form part of the ring will<br />
be put in place with an erector (8) that can handle a<br />
maximum weight of 17 tons, with a vacuum pickup system.<br />
The molds for these segments will be the largest ever<br />
fabricated by Herrenknecht Formwork, the company that<br />
was awarded the supply contract.<br />
The TBM’s back-up consists of three gantries that hold all<br />
of the equipment and the supply systems that allow the<br />
shield to move forward.<br />
Gantry 1 contains the following:<br />
• control cabin<br />
• grout tanks and injection<br />
pumps through the tail schield.<br />
• intake pump for the slurry<br />
from the pressure chamber<br />
• segment feeder<br />
Gantry 2 contains the following:<br />
• medium-voltage transformers<br />
• low-voltage distribution switch-<br />
boards<br />
• container that holds the main drive’s variable<br />
frecuency converters<br />
• hydraulic oil tanks and the pressure equipment<br />
for the different systems: thrust cylinders, cutter<br />
head articulation, erector, etc.<br />
