OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• Read these instructions carefully.
• Before plugging the appliance into the mains supply, make sure that the voltage
corresponds to that stated on the characteristics plate.
• Uncoil the mains cable fully to prevent the risk of overheating. • Periodically inspect the
appliance, including the mains cable, to check for signs of wear or damage. If these are
present do not hesitate in taking it along to an Authorised Technical Service Centre
• Do not operate the appliance with the cable still coiled.
• Do not bend or Fold the appliance when in use. Keep it well spread
• Avoid ironing permanent creases into the unit.
• Do not add a trim to the area where the electric conductors are.
• Avoid placing the control unit below the pillow or between bedclothes when the
appliance is switched on.
• The appliance must only be used with the type of control unit with which it is supplied.
• Not to be used with children, the disabled or those sensitive to heat.
• Overuse on a high setting could produce burns to the skin.
• Do not pierce the appliance with needles or other sharp objects.
• Do not place objects (books, cases, bags) or animals on top of the blanket as this will
prevent the heat from circulating freely.
• Unplug the appliance from the mains supply before proceeding to clean or maintain it.
• Never unplug it by tugging on the mains cable.
• WASH IN COLD WATER AT 40ºC MAXIMUM
• DO NOT WASH OR WET THE SWITCH OR MAINS CABLE
• Follow the washing instructions. DO NOT DRY CLEAN
• Do not use the appliance if it is wet or damp. Make sure that it is completely dry before
using it.
• Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands while it is switched on..
• Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight or rain.
• Unplug the appliance from the mains when it is not in use Store it away in a dry place
and do not place heavy objects on top of it.
• It is only to be used as an over-blanket.
• This appliance has not been designed for hospital use.
• The mains cable must not be replaced by the user, if it becomes damaged or has to be
replaced then take it along to a Service Centre recommended by the manufacturer.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1- CONNECTING AND DISCONNECTING THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL UNIT
THE BLANKET MUST ONLY BE USED WITH THE TYPE OF CONTROL UNIT SUPPLIED, THE
MODEL IS SPECIFIED ON THE LABEL STITCHED TO THE PRODUCT.
To connect the blanket’s temperature regulator unit, plug the unit’s connector (A) into
socket (B) attached to the inside of the blanket. (fig. 2) If it is a double blanket, then repeat
the operation with the other connector. To make it easier to make the bed, we advise
disconnecting connector (A) from the blanket by pressing the ends located on the sides
of the connector. (C)
