mayor volumen de ventas de la empresa, Calidad de Utillaje y Medios
de Producción Aeronáuticos, e Ingeniería de Cali dad y Representación

MDU (Grupo Carbures)
Empresa andaluza de ingeniería, perteneciente al Grupo Carbures,
que desarrolla su actividad en dos uni dades de negocio: Proveedor
“end to end” para equipos de electrónica embarcada, desde
el Diseño hasta el Mantenimiento; y Servicios de ingeniería para las
actividades de Manufacturing Engineering y Diseño de aeroestructuras
y sistemas. MDU está homologa da como proveedor de servicios
de Manufactu ring Engineering (S3E) para Airbus Defence & Space
y para el cluster de Work Preparations de Airbus. En 2012 inició las
actividades de Diseño y Cálculo de aeroestructuras y sistemas,
desta cando los proyectos para el KC390 de Embraer. Sus principales
clientes son Airbus DS, Airbus, CESA, CEIIA y Alestis, con las
cuales participa en los principales programas aeronáuticos (A350,
A380, A320Neo, A400M, Eurofighter, A330MRTT, C295, CN235,
etc.) y del sector naval en España. Cuenta con sedes en Sevilla, Cádiz
y Madrid, además de prestar servicios en Hamburgo, Toulouse
y Oporto. Posee las principales certificaciones de calidad (PECAL
2110-2210, CMMI ML3, ISO 9001, EN 9100, ISO 14001, OHSAS
18001), así como otras normas otorgadas por la OTAN, el Ministerio
de Defensa y la empre sa Lockheed Martin.
Mecanizados Calonge
Empresa ubicada en el Polígono Calonge de Sevilla que se dedica
a la siderometalurgia y a la fabricación de componentes mecanizados
para la industria aeronáutica. Con una dilatada trayectoria en el
sector, sus principales clientes son Airbus Defence & Space, Inespasa,
Consur, CESA y Torse sa, entre otros. Posee la certificación
ISO 9001.

customer in adquiring the new model of automatic forming machine
for its facilities in Espera, in addition to a drawing press CNC profiles
and sheets.
Mecaprec
This company founded in 1986 focuses on comprehensive machining
services and assembly of small subassemblies, with delivery to
the customer on the final assembly line and also to major Tier 1 and
Tier 2 suppliers. It works for several programmes on machining of
basic and test parts in aluminium, steel, polyamides and titanium. Its
activity is structured in three areas: Aircraft Parts for Airbus (A330 /
340, A318 / 319/320/321, A330MRTT, A380, A350, A400M, C212,
CN-235, C295, C101) Eurofighter (EF-2000) Airbus Helicopters (Superpuma);
Tooling (for Airbus and Embraer) and Machining of carbon
fiber. It has a factory measuring 2,500 meters located in the Industrial
Zone of Cádiz and it has EN-9100 and ISO 9001 certifications. The
company is also an approved supplier for Airbus Group in several
divisions. The majority of its customers have also granted Mecaprec
quality approval and certification for its special processes for freeze
fitting of bushings (IFMA 169) and rolling threads.
Metal Improvement Company (MIC)
Metal Improvement Company (MIC) specializes in metallic
treatments for aircraft components and parts using Shot Peening
and it is a leading company in the field of industrial applications of this
type as a means of preventing breakage of metal parts. Belonging
100% to the company Curtiss Wright Corporation, the firm has also
developed laser peening services which enable cleaner and more
precise operations. MIC is an expert in the mechanisms and effects
of this process and carries out research with companies throughout
the world due to its international nature. The Spanish subsidiary was
founded in 2005 and its division in Seville started its activities in late
2007, after achieving certification by leading customers (Airbus, Airbus
Defence & Space, Embraer, Bombardier, etc.) and NADCAP. It
currently works with major aerospace companies and it is extending
its activities to other sectors such as the automotive and chemical industries.
As part of its expansion policy, the company has created a
new corporate image, Curtis Wright Surface Technologies, and has
incorporated new technologies such as thermal spraying (plasma,
HVOF, etc.), special coatings (Everlube, Parylene, etc.) and a test laboratory
(IMR Lab Test).
Meupe
Andalusian company with a history spanning 50 years specializing
in the manufacture and assembly of structural parts and precision
machining for the aeronautical and automotive sectors. It also works
in the field of industrial systems engineering, process automation
and robotic systems. This company with its headquarters at Umbrete
(Seville) is currently working on the A380, A400M, A330MRTT,
C295, CN235, Eurofighter and ERJ145 programmes as well as
other civil Airbus programmes such as the A320 and the A340.
The firm has a managing system based on the international aerospace
EN-9100 certification, and has also ISO-9001 and ISO-14001
certifications. Meupe is one of the members of the new Grupo UMI
consortium together with Inespasa and Consur, and which provides
synergies and optimize resources to open up the possibility of new
projects with the leading aeronautical manufacturers and Tier One
suppliers.
