zum Windhund Festival<br />
<strong>Donaue</strong>schingen,<br />
Welcome to<br />
<strong>Donaue</strong>schingen<br />
Sighthound Festival,<br />
lassen Sie uns die gemeinsame Leidenschaft<br />
Windhunde und Mediterrane Rassen feiern,<br />
in diesem Jahr mit großem Jubiläum des<br />
Dt. Windhundzucht- und Rennverbands,<br />
gegründet 1892.<br />
Alle Mitglieder des Teams waren sich darüber<br />
einig, dass unser Verbandsjubiläum<br />
„125 Jahre Faszination Windhund“ zentrales<br />
Thema dieser Veranstaltung sein soll. Es war<br />
uns eine Herzensangelegenheit, mit Ihnen<br />
gemeinsam, Ausstellern und Gästen aus nah<br />
und fern, unser großes Jubiläum im DWZRV<br />
hier in <strong>Donaue</strong>schingen zu feiern.<br />
Zumal es an Geburtstagen stets Geschenke<br />
und Überraschungen gibt, überreichen wir<br />
Ihnen hiermit eine erstmals in dieser Form<br />
veröffentlichte Verbands-Chronik gemeinsam<br />
mit einem Rückblick auf unvergessliche<br />
Augenblicke des letztjährigen Windhund<br />
Festivals. – Aus Platzgründen ist die Erscheinung<br />
der deutschsprachigen Chronik in<br />
einer der nächsten Ausgaben des Verbandsjournals<br />
„Unsere Windhunde“ geplant.<br />
Nicht vergessen möchten wir, dass Sie es<br />
sind – liebe Aussteller und Gäste mit Ihrer<br />
grenzenlosen Begeisterung, die diese Veranstaltung<br />
zu einem herausragenden Festival<br />
mit einmaliger Atmosphäre machen. Wer<br />
hätte es je für möglich gehalten, dass eines<br />
Tages ein Event dieser Größenordnung mit<br />
internationaler Beteiligung aus mehr als 20<br />
Nationen im DWZRV, hier in Deutschland<br />
stattfinden würde?<br />

Sighthounds – together with this year’s<br />
anniversary of the German Sighthound Association<br />
founded in 1892.<br />
We all agreed at the organisation to have<br />
as our theme “125 Years with Passion for<br />
Sighthounds” for this year’s show. As it is an<br />
anniversary someone should get a present.<br />
So why not sharing with you, exhibitors and<br />
visitors from all around the world, the long<br />
tradition of Sighthounds in our country.<br />
It’s a pleasure to offer you this 1st time published<br />
chronic together with some unforgettable<br />
moments of last year’s Sighthound<br />
Festival. Thank you very much to all of our<br />
