Judging dogs at that place is really a great
privilege and in my case a dreamcometrue
experience, Donaueschingen Sighthound
Festival has become the foremost show for
these breeds in the world, and you can see
there the most beautiful examples of these
breeds, I d like to have time enough to see
the other breed rings while I was judging but
it is no possible at all, so I only had the opportunity
to see winners from other breeds at
the finals ring and I ve to say you can be very
proud of every final line.
I enjoyed a lot judging your show, it was
really as I hope, an incredible place to show
dogs with plenty of space and very warm
international sighthound atmosphere, and a
great judges panel too. I had really nice dogs
every day under my judging, a lot! I hope
your show could be in my agenda for every
year, would be great to go with my dogs too.
First day I had really a big Saluki entry, with
so great general quality than it was really difficult
to choose my winners. Nardous Ter Dolen
from Belgium was my BOB and Yalameh
Nayeli from Italy was my BOS, both being
great examples of their breed.
I had really nice galgos too. My Spanish Galgo
winners was Juana de la Dehesa Extremeña
from Belgium and Jucaro Spi Diego from
Austria, both bred in Spain from very good
friends of mine and clever breeders.
Nice beautiful entry of sloughis, with Khalina
Schuru-esch-Schams & Enkidu Schuru-esch-
Schams,doing their best both from Germany
at this wellknown kennel.
At the finals I gave BIS Baby to a great IW
puppy, bred in Italy, Charles dei Mangialupi ,
he styles wolfhoundiness in every hair.
I have the honour to give BIS in National
Breeds where I catch a good nice looking
Silken Windsprite, (I judged him next day
with BOB), Ch. Pegasus, from your own breed
country.
Next day I judged Mediterranean breeds and
Italian greyhounds. I hope your entries in Mediterranean
breeds go up every new year, you
are doing a great job there. Between them I
must resemblance a super high quality in
Pharaohs. I really love their profiles, beautiful
in red, many coming from so far away,
from Rusia. I have not really much to say than
WoW for this beautiful Pharaoh who won BIS
round after round at Eukanuba Night invitational
show, and he was of course my BOB on
Sunday, Reedly Road Lynway. BOS was for
Reedly Road Illuminated another beautiful
example of the breed.
In IG´s my BOB was Issue Fatale de Magistris,
from France, he took my eye from breed ring
and after got BIS of the day. Nice looking dog
with super movements, not easy to see one
of this in the breed nowadays.
At evening I was pleasured to judge junior
BIS which I gave to a delicious whippet male,
houndy, leggy and snakelike Red Cardinal
Boogie Shoes from Germany. I liked him a lot
from the whippet classes than I had time to
watch at the end of the morning the previous
day, a good mover and a beauty.
Definitively a place to stay, see you there next
time. Big thankyou to Olaf, Julie, Holger, Jessica
and all of you who take good care of me
these days. Only I have to say Welldone!!

der Aufgabe verschrieben,
die Windhunde der Tamaschek-Nomaden
auch außerhalb
der Ursprungsregion in
ihrer originären Erscheinung
und mit den gefestigten Verhaltensweisen
des Gebrauchshundes
zu erhalten. Gut zwanzig Expeditionen
nach Mali, Niger und Burkina
Faso mit zahlreichen Nachwuchsimporten
waren der Schaffung einer
genetisch gesunden Zuchtbasis in
Europa und Amerika gewidmet.
