information about the development of energy efficiency in buildings will be
created.
In this model the data is summarized on another form, where the energy
efficiency index will also be calculated for the customer annually taking
into account the activity changes of the customer. Besides this also changes
in quantity or quality of building services and energy efficiency measures
will be documented. Information of the summary forms can also be utilized
to compare and benchmark the energy consumption of customers. First the
consumers, however, have to be categorized more detailed than before
using the information about services, activities, working hours etc. which
have acquired in this model.
As a second step in the project it has been proposed that some building
organisations would acquire experiences of the model e.g. among selected
groups of customers. After that the experiences should be taken into
account and develop the model so that a wider utilization of the model can
be recommended. When planning the implementation of the model it has
also been emphasized that the energy efficiency index is closely bound with
building management systems e.g. environmental management systems.
