Article 3: Exclusion from the scope of
application
Every person employed under the general
statutes for the Rwanda public service or every
person under specific statutes shall not be
subjected to the provisions of this law, except
for matters that may be provided for by Prime
Minister’s orders.
The person dealing with family agricultural,
breeding, commercial or industrial activities
shall not be subjected to the provisions of this
law, except for provisions relating to health
and safety at workplace as well as to
prohibitions for child labour and for pregnant
or breastfeeding women.
The informal sector worker is not subjected to
provisions of this law, except for issues
relating to social security, the trade union
organizations and those relating to health and
safety at workplace.

Article 3 : Exclusion du champ
d’application
Toute personne régie par le statut général ou
particulier des agents de la fonction publique
rwandaise n’est pas soumise aux dispositions
de la présente loi à l’exception des matières
qui pourraient être déterminées par Arrêtés du
Premier Ministre.
La main-d’œuvre agricole, d’élevage
commerciale et industrielle familiale n’est pas
soumise aux prescriptions de la présente loi, à
l’exception des dispositions en matière de
sécurité et santé au travail et de travaux
interdits aux enfants et femmes enceintes ou
allaitantes.
Le travailleur du secteur informel n’est pas
soumis aux dispositions de la présente loi à
l’exception des matières relatives à la sécurité
sociale, aux organisations syndicales et celles
relatives à la santé et sécurité au travail.
