Lovers of Ghanaian and Nollywood<br />
movies need no introduction to Victoria<br />
'Vicky' Zugar Ghanaian actress. Some<br />
describe her as eccentric, fun and<br />
sophisticated. I prefer to refer to her as<br />
uniquely talented. I chased her for<br />
months and finally got her to give<br />

<strong>La</strong>mode: Why choose a career in Movies?<br />
Vicky: Because I have a flair for acting<br />
<strong>La</strong>mode: When did you start acting<br />
professionally?<br />
Vicky: About six years ago<br />
<strong>La</strong>mode: Do you do anything else besides<br />
acting?<br />
Vicky: Yes I do, I am a cosmetologist<br />
and a philantropist<br />
<strong>La</strong>mode: If you had to choose one a<br />
career all over again, what would it be?<br />
Vicky: Definitely Acting<br />
<strong>La</strong>mode: So would you say your mother is<br />
a big influence in your career?<br />
Vicky: I wouldn’t say she is an<br />
influence, but she’s been absolutely<br />
supportive<br />
<strong>La</strong>mode: What inspires you?<br />
Vicky: My exciting and fun<br />
personality. Plus I draw a lot of<br />
inspiration from good movies<br />
<strong>La</strong>mode: Do you pick and choose the<br />
roles you play?<br />
Vicky: No I don’t. I only choose<br />
scripts. I am a versatile actress<br />
<strong>La</strong>mode: Your name is very unique does it<br />
have a meaning?<br />
Vicky: Vicky is the short for<br />
Victoria which mean Victorious<br />
and Zugah which is my surname<br />
means Ezugah in ewe translates<br />
to money<br />
<strong>La</strong>mode: What are the most<br />
important items in your hand bag<br />
anyday?<br />
Vicky: Bible, water and lip balm.<br />
<strong>La</strong>mode: What would you like to<br />
tell your fans about you that they don’t<br />
already know?<br />
Vicky: I hqve a beautiful 10 year<br />
old daughter (smiles) and<br />
recently launched the Vicky<br />
Zugah Foundation.<br />
