Yes, I mean You! Compiling it was so much fun as I thought of the joy and the benefits you would derive turning every page, and I hope we continue bringing out more interesting editions. Of course without my remarkably amiable team members this edition will not be a reality. They love you just as much and their contribution is seen in every word.

Nigeria Fashion Week 2012 GOING<br />
GREEN 2 featured 53 Designers and 48<br />
exhibitors from 24 countries, it was<br />
organized and hosted by Legendary<br />
Gold limited.<br />
Lexy Mojo Eyes the president of NFW<br />
said; "When we think of fashion, the<br />
images that come to mind are beautiful<br />
models with beautiful bodies, beautiful<br />
clothes made of flowing and colorful<br />
materials, talented and creative designers,<br />
etc. But how can a model maintain a<br />
beautiful body without a healthy diet and<br />
regular exercise? How can a designer<br />
think and create beautiful designs<br />
without serene atmosphere? How do we<br />
maintain good physical if our cities do<br />
not have enough trees, parks and public<br />
gardens to regenerate oxygen? Our<br />
modest contribution to the search of<br />
answers to some of the questions above<br />
led us to theme the NFW 2012 edition<br />
GOING GREEN 2.<br />
This year showcased a going green<br />
collection of all the participating<br />
designers to exhibit there ecofriendly<br />
outfits made from recycled materials,<br />
organic or natural fabric on the same<br />
runway. <strong>La</strong>mode magazine considers that<br />
aspect of the entire Fashion week as<br />
epical and we encourage African<br />
designers to develop ecofriendly fashion<br />
to preserve our enviroment.<br />
Indeed, the 2012 edition of the Nigerian<br />
Fashion week brought together<br />
professionals from various backgrounds<br />
particularly designers in diaspora. This<br />
influx of so many cultures ultimately<br />
gave the audience, models, designers,<br />
media people, and sponsors represented<br />
an overwhelming experience.<br />
Although they were a few technical set<br />
backs and bad timing the 2012 edition<br />
of NFW GOING GREEN 2 was a<br />
success.<br />
